This documentary feature film follows the Homeward Bound leadership initiative for women and non-binary people with a background in STEMM. The shoot kicked off in Argentina and Antarctica in Jan-Feb 2025, where Marleena and director Shannon Owen (Left Write Hook) worked as a skeleton crew to cover this extraordinary expedition. The shoot will continue in Tanzania in Nov-Dec 2025. The film will explore themes including the complex power dynamics of leadership, climate change, and racial and social politics.
