In 1970, when society could barely fathom the idea of lesbian relationships, This Day Tonight spoke with young couple Phyllis and Francesca. Decades later, the pair reflect on the impact of speaking out.

First broadcast on ABC iView, this short documentary was selected for competition in the international documentary category at the 2019 Palm Springs Short Film Festival. It was also nominated for the 2018 Australian LGBTI Awards (media category) and selected for Queer Screen’s Mardi Gras Film Festival 2019.
