Change Makers: Samoa — ABC International Development (series)

Change Makers: Samoa is a series of short documentaries profiling extraordinary Samoans who are making an impact in their field. Produced at a time when Covid was still impacting travel to Samoa, the pieces shot on location in Samoa were filmed by Tarx Morrison (SamoaGEM Media) with direction from Marleena Forward. The Australia and New Zealand stories were shot by Marleena, and all pieces were edited by Marleena. The series was launched by Australia’s Governor General, the Honourable David Hurley, and was aired on Samoan television.

The project was created as part of the Pacific Media Assistance Scheme (PACMAS), managed by ABC International Development and funded by the Australian government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).
