Marleena Forward is a freelance filmmaker, photographer, writer and editor based in Melbourne, Australia.

Her writing has appeared in newspapers, magazines, travel guides, blogs and apps, and she has edited a range of both fiction and non-fiction books. Her video work has been published by The Guardian and ABC online, and she is an award-winning documentary filmmaker.

She holds a diploma in Professional Writing & Editing from RMIT, and she recently completed a Masters degree in Film & Television (Documentary) at the VCA film school in Melbourne.

Marleena has travelled extensively in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Australia.
